Accomodation in Cambodia
Accommodation in Cambodia is a mixed bag. There’s anything and everything from homestays to luxury hotels. We’ve spent a lot of time finding the best places to stay. Comfort, safety and a bit of style is important.
On our tours everyone gets their own room. You are never expected to share accommodation with anyone else. That’s why we have a no dorm and no sharing policy. After a day of riding and sightseeing you deserve to relax in the comfort of your own room without having to smell someone else’s dirty socks.
The only exception is if you are travelling with your significant other and would actually like to be in the same room together.
We stay in the best accommodation available. When you’re off the tourist trail it’s not always possible to find 4 or 5 star western style accommodation (or many, if any other tourists for that matter). This is when we stay in Cambodian guesthouses which actually have a lot of charm.
Is the only way to truly experience the “real” Cambodia. It’s simple village existence with the basic necessities.
- fan, bed, blanket, towels, power outlets and a shared bathroom. Hot water is not always possible, but trust us, you don’t need it when it’s hot.
The most common form of accommodation in Cambodia are guesthouses. Which are basically just small hotels.
- ensuite bathroom, TV, air con, fan and hot water
Western style hotels are popular in the more touristy towns and cities. The comfort level is of a higher standard and the majority of hotels we stay at have restaurants, bars and beautiful pools.
